Mark Herbert has worked for the British Council since 2006. Before his current global education role he worked in communications, marketing and strategy and was Director of Communications for the British Council. He has a particular interest in how school systems can be improved through international collaboration to improve quality and inclusion. He has three children secondary school in the UK. He holds a BSc Econ. in Management Studies from Cardiff University and has worked as a volunteer in Uganda, Chile and Peru.
